getting ready for a show and working to get as much done as i can
here is one of the first finished ready for a sheath
full tang cpm3v 1/8 thick spine
3.5 inch blade and about 8.5 over all
flat ground
handle is burlap burl and brass pins

Just for my edjumacation, how high is that grind? (distance from the edge to the flat, parallel to the flat, just to clarify)
 
here's a though for you butch. I really like your burlap burl and it reminded me of a few ghille suits i've made,and got me to thinking if you made a few pieces the way ghilles are made it might turm out pretty cool. We would take the burlap completly apart,dye the threads separately and then after drying combine the threads in a random pattern onto usually a net background. You could eliminate the net and just twist the threads together in some sort or random pattern and then work your magic from there. Just a thought.
