burn the old press

i'm doing some shop cleaning and i ran across my old "press". it's 2 pieces of 1'X1' 1/2" plywood. each piece has 2 layers of blue camp mat Gorilla glued on to them. it's a pretty cavemanish set up, but it worked for 2 sheaths while we were waiting for the press (long long time ago). i have no use for this and planned on burning it. if someone was going to make one, they'd prolly pay more for the ply wood and camp mat than shipping for this one. so... if anybody is wanting to try an make their first sheath, i'd just as soon drop it in the mail as the fire. anybody?

really? wow. i remember reading, so many times, people askin what they could use as a make shift press, or the dude that used the knee pads then stacked stuff on top of them. figured somebody would say, "no, don't toss that, i'll take it." shipping, that's all i want. i'll find a box and make the drive to the P.O.

i don't care, the fire pit in the backyard is closer than the P.O. (which is VERY close too), i'm just surprised, no noobs could use it. oh well, out it goes.

If this is still available, I'll take it!

Let me know.

And thanks!

Al

yes it is, i haven't had a fire since starting this thread lol.

send me your email, mine is will@2munkeez.com i'll send you some pix, make sure it's worth it to you. i'll also find a box and run it up to the post office to see how much they'll want to ship it.

it's pretty basic, but it's worked. we've used it (a long time ago).

I'll be backup man in case #1 changes his mind.... ;)

Nice gesture too by the way....
