Burned on a belt sander

I was modifying a drop point to a clip point and keeping it cool with a cold water bucket but also had a buddy spraying it with a spray bottle. I ended up with very slight brown discoloration on the very tip. Is this going to significantly affect the heat treat?

If it’s a light/straw brown, I think you’re ok.

Even if it did, since it’s slight and at the tip, it’ll probably sharpen out...
