Long time lurker first time poster. About 15 years ago I purchased a Burnt Chimney slim line trapper from a pharmacy in Forest City, NC. Does anyone know if these knives are still made and if so where they can be purchased?

I agree, I have a couple of them (Burnt Chimney) I ordered in the early or mid 80's from Smokey Mountain (never saw them anywhere else) that are remarkably well finished (easlily comparable to modern Schatt & Morgan, Blue Ridge Winchesters and the like). I remember paying under 20 for a bone hawkbill and under 30 for a one blader in stag.)

how about some pics? i've never seen any and would like to.

Am I correct in thinking the brand was made by Boker in Germany? The knives looked very similar to Boker and Henckels (made by Boker) knives... patterns, scale materials etc.. Please show them if possible. Thanks.
