I had a Harry Carry and the tip had a pretty clear area that got hot when they ground the finished edge should I be concerned about the heat treat in the tip? Also the swedge grind is uneven from one side to the other would the swamp fix that ? I have never had a Busse-kin knife with a great factory edge they have all been kind of sharp but the edges have been way too steep and uneven and/or had other issues, is this common or is this the thing that has been fixed of late with the "sharpened by" stickers.
Please don`t flame me as I have never found knives I like better or trust more than Busse and kin so I am not looking for a fight rather I am looking for guidance. Thank you in advance for any info you can share .

I would email Eric or PM him to see what he has to say. The Swamp's service is second to none.:)

Yea Brain - Call them - They will work it out! Not sure why you mentioned a knife you had, but they will take care of what you have fo sho

We will take care of any problems
I doubt the tip is actually burnt though ( I don't doubt it is dark but I doubt it is burnt to the point that it cause any issues)

Eric wrote him back and said it was not burned and it rubbed right off .Thank you Eric for the quick reply. I didn`t try to get the "color" off the tip as I didn`t want to tarnish the "mint" condition of the knife.
