Would like feedback on Burr oak Knives by Mark Nevling. I see some beautiful knives but before I purchase, I would like to know about his quality & craftsmanship. Please send me message. I am not as experienced with custom knife making like most of you and I would appreciate your help.

I have spoke to him several times at the annual knife show our club puts on. He always has very nice knives, and usually donates a knife for a custom knife drawing. I believe he makes his own damascus also. The materials he uses are top notch and his fit and finish are great. His prices range from $400-$1000+

At our show, the Gateway Area Knife Show, he has won the following awards:

2007 - Best Straight Knife
2008 - Best of Show
2010 - Best Custom Embellishment
2011 - Best Custom Embellishment
 
I have met and talked to him, great, down to earth maker. His knives are first class, with attention to detail.
 
I just bought one off the exchange recently and it was very well done. Quality craftmanship.
