Burt Foster Laminated Chopper

I was pleased to get this one from Burt recently. Though beautiful, it will see a lot of hard use over time as it is a monster chopper made for work. It features a forged full-tang laminated blade (416, 1095) with forge texture and matched stabilized spalted maple scales fixed with domed nickel-silver pins. The pouch style sheath is tooled leather with faux inlays. OAL is 15 1/4 in. and handle is 5 in. even. It's a heavy-weight chopper at 1 lb. 5.4 oz. Burt's legendary attention to detail is evident throughout.

I've been eagerly awaiting your pics on this beauty. I told Burt whe he posted this knife that my socks were knocked right off, and here I sit barefoot again. A lot of strong visual elements combine very well here for an impressive and memorable piece.
