the perfect tool for the ambitious outdoor chef: tactical (kitchen) cleaver by burt foster, forged from 3/4" round bar of 52100, blade 6", oal 10 1/2", 7/32" thick at the bolster, black canvas micarta handle. excellent sheath!

I think this is an excellent design. If I was looking for a custom chopper, this one would be at the top of the list.
 
I'm sure glad someone posted a picture of the Swedish Chef:thumbup::D
I think this knife is a little too nice for a muppet, but I'd be glad to have one.
I'm liking this trend towards less pointy and more chopperly knives.

Super, hope to see some variations on the design. I remember Burt forging as a demontration at Ashokan a couple years ago, those integrals seem like second nature to him.
