Got a good size batch together. Been building my own knives in my down time at Fletcher Knives. Notice the new logo. Got a personalizer plus and love it. All my knives are getting extra deep logos etched in them now. Knives are for sale as knives only but i can do kydex or leather sheaths for an extra $35. All knives ship free. First up......

AK-1 bush knife major: 3/16" O1 convex saber grind. oal 10 1/4" with a 5 1/4" blade. It has a black oxide finish and brown linen micarta scales with white liners. Scales are pinned and glued. cost for this one is $195


AK-1 major: 5/32" O1 convex saber grind. oal 10 1/4" with 5 1/4" blade. Scales are black canvas with white liners and canvas micarta tube pins.

AK-1 major: 5/32" O1 convex saber grind. oal 10 1/4" with 5 1/4" blade. Scales are brown linen micarta with red liners and solid fiberglass pins.

Those are some great looking knives! Is there a specific purpose for the curve on the front of the cleaver?
 
Guys, Damon's knives are clean as can be. That cleaver is some kinda perfect. Tapered tang even. Woot!
 
No special purpose i know of. The shape was inspired by a clever a friend brought back from the Philippines. I just thought it looked cool.
 
It does look really cool!!! Just didn't know if it had a purpose other than that. Keep up the good work!!!!
 
I love that cleaver but I also like tha a-major. Looks like a solid user with a no frill design. Well done.
 
I have a cleaver I got in Thailand that has that curve on the front. Thought it was just decorative, but I discovered that you can choke up on the blade and do some really delicate cutting with that little tip.
