Bush Buddy

Here's a new design called the "Bush Buddy" in my "Bush series". It's aprox 18 inches OAL, forged integral from 1065. The integral socket handle wrappings are woven cotton cord, sealed with natural pinyon rosin.

Kinda rustic for my tastes, but I love that handle wrap.

The handle wrappings are a series of individual Turks head knots. The woven cotton cord has a very fine fiber that soaks up the rosin through capillary action, to form a strong composite handle. It makes a great grip and doesn't transfer much shock at all to the hand.
