Bush/EDC in etched D2

Hey all! This is a little bushcraft/ EDC blade I just finished up for my Step Father. I'm really happy with the way it turned out and hope he likes it. Here are the specs.

D2 steel @ 60Rc with etched finish.
Full height convex grind and edge.
8 3/8" OAL
3 7/8" from grip to tip
1 5/16" wide and 1/8" thick

Handle is double brown canvas micarta fastened with 2 ton epoxy, stainless pins and thong tube.

Kydex sheath with belt loop.

I would think that he shurely will like it ,theres a life time plus of use there....Congrats..

Thanks drlozier! Sure, I used a combination of cold gun blue and bleach. Blue the blade and soak in bleach. Then wipe and sand off all rust and wash the blade very well. There's a forum member clich who used to have a link in his sig to the process.
