Not as pretty as the Cocobolo version but nonetheless capable. This one is about as bombproof and all business we (Tony and I) can make it. Glue is optional. Just say "NO" to glue wars!

Glad you like it. This template warrants a trip to the waterjet.

S & S, I have been using this one for a few weeks and as you indicated, it's a worker.

Question: I believe that the lanyard tube is a press fitted into place? If so then the scales are non-removable? (I'm not trying to be a hater I'm just curious)

Thanks for taking a look and asking a good question.

It is important to me that every part and element of the tools I make have a functional purpose. The scales are non-removable because of the epoxy used as a sealer (only) and the flared tube. I flare the tube because it is a stronger connection and is functionally superior to chamfering when used as a lanyard hole. The allen head bolts allow me to change the order of the steps in the fabrication process - for one, the blade is parkerized before assembly.

This model can be made into a removable scale version with a simple mod - lose the tube but keep the chamfered hole.
