What would be great is a side-by-side of an XL and a Hatchula. :thumbup:

These are going to be in the January batch. I think I'm going to do six of them. Five for you guys, one for me. :D

I think you guys are going to like them. They're going to have a slightly longer blade than the Bush Operator and a different handle, but still have a lot of the same lines to it. You'll see, it's going to be the hotness. Definitely my "cutting myself out of the tank I'm stuck in" knife.

The steel should be getting scribed and profiled tomorrow for these. There will be five in this batch that already have dibs on them and one extra for myself. I'll try to get some pictures. I should also be profiling a couple of new beasts tomorrow. :D

You are correct. SNOW SHENANIGANS. The weather has been mad nasty here and I've been taking care of the wife and handling things around the house. Today was the first day in a few days that the wife's job was open, so I got to go to the shop and work for a little while. I got everything scribed out, but didn't get them profiled yet. I'll have everything profiled tomorrow and ready for grinds. I'm putting the camera by the front door right now so I don't forget it. By the way, I don't know if Andy posted pictures of some machete testing in his forum yet. I haven't checked, but if he did, you guys need to check them out. His machetes are awesome. We were using them to hack through FROZEN SEASONED HICKORY and they bit right through. Pretty impressive in my opinion.

I got way behind here due to my steel not showing up as fast as it was supposed to and the weather, so hopefully I can get these knocked out by the end of the month, but maybe early/mid February at the latest. I need the moolah though, so I'm busting my ass to get them finished.
