I know there have been several threads here about people's dissatisfaction with the the Bush Ranger Folder. Frankly, after carrying this knife for several months, I don't know what those folks are talking about.

The contoured G-10 handle is remarkably ergonomic and one of the most comfortable I've ever experienced on a folder.

The blade-to-handle ratio is excellent.

The blade shape is robust and quite useful.

Along with the Golden Eye, it has become one of my favorite medium-sized folders. My only wish is that Cold Steel would make an XL size model.

Nice pics! The only complaint I can recall is the difficulty of a one-handed close. I got one recently and I can close with one hand using the index finger to stop the blade. The key is to reach the index finger very far forward into the choil area.
I haven't done anything with mine so I'm not prepared to fully evaluate. I was disappointed by the asymmetric swedge and the wave plate that is askew. I corrected the swedge with a diamond file.

I'm so used to the Triad lock, and dropping the blade down, that I dont even think about it any more.
