Hello,
Here is another Bush Tanto. This is the model I carry the most when in the woods...

1084 Material
14" OA
8 1/2" Blade
5 1/2" Handle
1/4" Spine
Handle is leather backed, hemp wrapped and epoxy soaked.
Sheath is 10oz hand stitched, riveted and wax dipped.

Thanks for looking.
Rick

Simple, smart and beautiful... and a bit of question.
This spine looks to be useful for scraping but not so much for batoning.
Is this based on small-axe carrying? And what is another application of this spine?

Thanks for sharing.

The relief cut on the spine (or shinogi-ji, unless I'm using that term wrong) does not converge to a sharp edge. There is actually still 5/32" of spine flat. I use the relief to shift the ballance point of the blade to where I need it.... Right in front of the handle. It also looks really kewl.... Ha!
