Hello,
Here is my Bush Waki. The balance point is directly infront of the handle. It is a very lively blade to whip around.... lots-o-fun!

1084 Material
21 3/4" OA
13 1/4" Blade
8 1/4" Handle
3/16" Spine
Handle is leather backed, hemp wrapped and epoxy soaked.
Sheath is 10oz hand stitched, riveted and wax dipped.

Thanks for looking.
Rick

Someone in another thread asked about the back-cut on the spine....

The relief cut on the spine (or shinogi-ji, unless I'm using that term wrong) does not converge to a sharp edge. There is actually still 5/32" of spine flat. I use the relief to shift the ballance point of the blade to where I need it.... Right in front of the handle. It also looks really kewl.... Ha!

This is a pic of a tanto....

Very cool, as always. If I'm not mistaken, that geometry is called unokubi-zukuri — I'm not sure whether the false edge is called a shinogi-ji in that case (I think that term may only apply on shinogi-zukuri geometry, but I could be wrong).

Very sweet blade and sheath. That's also a very interesting finish on the blade, gives it a great look and feel.

Great knife!
