I have been using my GSO 4.7 for a while and recently took it out for a spin up north.
The knife performed very will to baton and feather stick... even to cut steak :D
I wanted to love the 5.1 but couldn't (sold it) I wasn't sure I would love the 4.7 but it's one of my favorite knives.

For those interested bacon, steak and potatoes was on the menu

Rodger, that is awesome! I love your vids. Great feast, great knife. You should do a talking review like you did with your Lionsteel.

Was that an orange Laplander???

Thanks for the comments guys !
It was a fun day outside
I will do a 4.7 video, I just want to do some more work with it

Nice video RR! Made me hungry though.

Looking forward to the next one...

Why are you so mad at the fire at the end?! Excellent video. The biggest takeaway I had from visiting my buddy in Michigan was- birch bark is the best! And- birch rots in a hot minute!

LOVED the video thanks for posting it! No talk all action!

Did you get the micro texturing on your G10 scales? That Orange looks great. Did you see the 4.5 bushcraft?

Enjoyed the video Revolverrodger.. Food definitely tastes better in the outdoors over a homemade fire. Look forward to seeing more of your videos.

Microtextured g10 !
I was hesitating to get the 4.5 but decided to go with the 6

I need to get another set of orange G10s as well as a set of the jades. Guy's microtexturing makes these a nice looking option AND functional to the canvas micarta. Yours really pop in the video. The 6 is the "red headed step-child" of the GSO lineup. I have one but I fell in love with my 7/7 when I got it a few months later. The 6 is a still a great knife and was my first GSO just after they sold out on the original run. You'll have a great combination with that 4.7 and 6. What kind and color handles did you order?
