I had a request to post some size comparison shots of the F1 against some Barkies. Hope this is helpful:





 
HOC...you are the man! I really appreciate you doing this for me. As I mentioned, I wish I could handle those Bark River knives before making a purchase. But since that isn't possible, these photos will definitely help make my decision a little easier. Of these knives I've requested, how would you rank them by preference? I really like the LB. I'm worried though, that compared to my custom F1, it won't feel "substantial enough" in hand. Anyhow...thanks again for the pics man and any thoughts you might have on these knives.
 
It's a very sturdy knife. It's also CPM3V so it isn't as brittle as VG10. It does however feel less substantial than the f1 because the blade height is much thinner. If you want a barkie that's different from the f1 check out the aurora that extra length really does make a difference.
There will be 3v models available in a month or so.

Or if you want a tank of a knife that has real presence get a bravo1. 3v editions will also be coming out soon. Probably earlier than the aurora!
