Dan,
I'll ask this here in case it might help someone else also.

With the slight change in the Bushcraft handle..... would you reccomend OR ....

.....the big handed person or people who have tried one ..... the thicker scales or the thinner original ones for the "upgraded Bushcraft handle" for a big handed person ??

Any thoughts appreciated..............

You all have a good weekend...... :D

the biggest factor is how big a broomstick you can grab. If you have chunk fingers/palm...then thinner scales are ok. If you have skinny/knobby fingers...you'll want a fatter handle.

Make sense?

The handle design was to accomodate those with "wider palms"....regardless of "inner diameter" (how big a broomstick you can hold).

ahhhhh........
Makes perfect sense........... even to a "pea brain" such as myself. :D
Thank you Dan..........

"pea brain" me has one more request....... :D
I'll ask it here, hoping it will enlighten any others also ...... if there are any..... ;)

These are my hand measurements...

Thumb Length (A): 2 1/2
Palm Width (B): 4 3/16
Longest Finger Length (C): 3 1/2
Palm Height (D): 4 5/8
Inside Diameter: 1 1/2
(index finger forming a circle with thumb)

Typically, for this size hand... would you reccomend the thinner or thicker scales on the bushcraft knife Dan ?

I do understand what you said here about the "updated" Bushcraft handle ........

Dan said : "The handle design was to accomodate those with "wider palms"....regardless of "inner diameter" (how big a broomstick you can hold)."

Sorry to be a bother. I just want to get it right and just posted here in case the answer will help others also.

Thank you in advance sir.........

you will want 1/4" thick scales and the new/wider bushcraft handle, for sure.

Might also consider a Bush-Master instead (when they become available)...but either way is fine with me.

:thumbup:Thank you Dan.............

I want em' both............ :D

Dan, just a reminder when you send me my next one I want the 3v original design.

We talked about it here but I got a question from you via the order tracker that lent me to believe that you didn't remember our conversation.;)
