Bushcraft Karda for pocket edc use?

Will a bushcraft karda work as a pocket edc knife? Thanks in advance for your replies

Yes it will and so will the EDKarda. There's a bunch of models that work for pocket carry and have 4 finger grip including Handyman, Hiking Buddy, Patch, Bushboot, EDC, EDCll, Lonestar and several models by WA Surls and Osprey Knife and Tool (using the appropriate sheath).

I've got medium sized hands, and can get a comfortable 4 finger grip on my Esquire. It sits nice and compact in pocket in one of Bud's ISP's

I can second this reply. The handle on the Esquire tends to be a bit thinner than most models as well which is ideal for me.
I guess it really depends on the size of your mitts.

I carry my 3 finger Karda as my everyday pocket carry. Medium sized hands. Absolutely the perfect knife for me.

I just dropped my EDKarda in my back pocket as I ran errands. There was about 1" of the handle showing above my pocket. Im not sure i would want any more than that, which would happen with the longer Bushcraft Karda

You might also want to check out the Handyman. The handle is a tad longer than the Hiking Buddy, and it's guardless.

Im thinking the bushcraft karda is gonna be a little too long for comfortable concealed pocket carry

here is a pic i just posted in another thread of similar sized fiddlebacks

I really like the Esquire and it's actually got a longer handle than the Mini-Grip. The guard, I could do without and I suspect we'll see fewer and fewer guards from the forge in the coming days. Just the way the market is moving toward cleaner lines and more "gentlemanly" knives-- at least that's the way I'm spending my knife money these days.

Kevroo made the bead and it's awesome!

The Bushcraft Karda has a full sized handle. Its bigger than a HB handle. I'd get something smaller for my pocket.

Out the door today with my favorite fixed EDC. Tangerine Esquire. I like that it is thin, yet also has a slightly longer handle. I don't care to get into a tug-of-war with my sheath just to draw the knife.

Sorry for the big pics. I have to figure out how to fix that.

Good looking Esquire!

You should be able to resize the pictures in your image hosting site. I use Imgur and it lets you add a letter (i.e. m for medium size, l for large) into the URL to adjust size, it's pretty convenient.

I decided on the esquire. Need something that will always be in my pocket and forget about it. Looking forward to my first fiddleback forge.

:thumbup:Good choice on the Esquire. I would like to thank Andy and the Fiddleback crew for replacing my Rosewood Esquire that was lost in the shipping process. I got this sweet little gem last Friday!:)

Errrrgh! Got hooked on this conversation beginning with Phillip's comparison pic and focused on that Esquire. Funny how the thread turned into an Esquire thread annnnd that it puts one on my radar now also.

That's a handsome Esquire Gus.

It's been a model on my radar for a while. Just got to find the right one! We had the commando Esquire conversation in the BC Jr. thread. I'm kind of stuck on that now even though commando is a pretty rare thing to see.
