Andy,

Any chance that there will be a Bushcraft Karda or two in one of the next couple of batches?

I love the lines on this utility blade, pairing it with a full-sized handle brings it a new level of performance. Great design. Would love to see some more of these come out of the shop. Especially one with Osage or maple scales on brown micarta slabs.

Just sayin'...

I know I got the 3 finger version and love it. Matter of fact I was just sharpening it up a min ago. With the spearpoint I can see it being a great bushcraft blade but I love it as an EDC, I need to figure out how to attach the clips I bought to my kydex so I can use it as a pocket sheath. I carry mine with the pancake sheath Andy make for it but it rattles around in my pocket a bit. Good luck on snagging one Rotte. Get rested up well? Hows that new Tal sheath and Muk doing any pics?

Rotte, the one I made for the WSS contest (late, didn't compete) is available. Its nat can over nat can with an orange pinstripe.

Andy,

Say no more. Gone. ...If you can part with it. :) Pic any where?

Ridge,

I'm embarrassed to say the Nessie has just been sitting around, kinda like me. I love the Nessie and the sheath Tal made, but I haven't gotten out in the woods much. Soon though.

I think that he is wanting a BC Karda not a 3 finger. Just dont want it to ship and it be the wrong one.

No need to be embarssed man, life sometimes gets in the way of the things that we would like to do, thats life!
As for pics of the knife that Andy speaks of I believe that it is this one.

That is a beauty...but, yes, I was asking about the Bushcraft Karda. I've got one of Andy's 3-finger blades: super pocket knife. But I like the big handle on the Bushcraft version.

Rotte, I believe that is the picture of the karda Andy was refering to. I don't think he realized though, that you were inquiring about the bushcraft karda (shorter blade/ longer handle).
I like those as well. I believe he made one with an Osage handle not too long ago that I had my eye on. It was nice!

I'll throw a few in the next time we cut steel around here. It's been a while actually.

How about throwing in a BLJ, and then make it bolstered with curly ash!! You know while you are taking requests :)

The top knife in this picture is is a BC Karda in Osage. I really like the feel of this knife and it's very useful as a utility knife since I like a full handle. I have never used it for bushcraft though, and since I got my Woodpecker that has kind of taken over as my go-to utility knife...

I'd say its his 3 finger, Andy does not usually make a new design for these comps. Just using one of his designs that he already has.

Pretty sure it's a three-finger. I looked at a couple at Blade and am wanting a 5/32 stainless for a neck knife. I love the design and think it will be a perfect all around small knife, especially if this think with the youth group I'm working on gets going.

The one for the contest is the 3 finger. I don't make the 2 finger version anymore
