I`ve been looking for a bushcraft knife to go with mi Swamp Rat RMD but since there are lots of options( ) I would like a help from you guys.
I would like to keep it under 140 dollars
The blade length should be like 3.5 inches to 5 inches long
:) Thanks

Ka-Bar Becker BK-2 'Campanion'... nice knife!

5 1/4" blade though...

Bark River Highland Special can still be had for just under $140.
ESEE-4 is under $100
Blind Horse Knives has a couple that fit the bill under $140.

Yep, I've heard great things about the Moras (the classic especially), but also about Bark River, and Blind Horse knives. I've got a mora, and it seems great for basic bushcrafty stuff, but I have no experience with the more expensive blades (i'm poor).

Good luck

Also Fallkniven F1 or H1, I'll second the Rodent Solution, and ESEE RC-4, you could probably get a Bark River Bravo-1 used on the exchange for around or under $140.

ESEE-4, or pushing your size requirement a little bit, ESEE-6 should still be under your budget.

If you're looking for a more traditional looking knife, the Condor Bushlore is great. At about $35 its well under budget.

If you want something very traditional, but with some high end differentially tempered steel and great ergos, the Kellam Wolverine is a nice option, and a Lower cost alternative to that is the Ahti Metsa, however you could always go for a classic Mora.

Are you going to carry the RMD at the same time? If so, I would tend to go smaller- like the Izula 2 is great for the $$. I love my Scrap Yard Weiner Dog and Koyote EDC Convex for smaller blades also...the Mud Puppy is a little brute too.

Pick up a Mora, an Estwing hatchet, and a Vic Alox Farmer and you are set. With the money left over from yout 140 budget, buy yourself some beers or a nice dinner.

define a bushcraft knife...

I have been bushcrafting for about 20 years know, and used all kind of knives, from scandi, full flat, convex.
Yes, a scandigrind carves wood very good, makes excellent feather sticks but you can also do this with another type of grind, it just takes some more skill from the bushcrafter.

a Mora 511 ( remove the guard ) is on of the best, low budget, knives I know of.

all the best,

Jan
