I'm looking for a knife I can use when I go camping, something that's not a mora( already have several). Around a 4 inch blade, $ 100 or less, wood handles would be a plus. Anyone have a suggestion?

There will and should be many suggestions.... Everything from production to customs. I would advise a Becker bk16. Great knife, great company, great steel at a steal!

Enzo Trapper. Has multiple steels, multiple grinds, multiple handle versions, and allows to you make one yourself.

I'm considering Becker and eese offerings but I'm leaning towards something from a small company, like the enzo that devatrap mentioned. Does anyone have any experience with svord fixed blades?

You can get a good knife from Blind Horse Knives for around that price.

I bought a BHK GNS on eBay for $95 BNIB. It's Micarta handles and O1 tool steel. Great blade for bushcrafting work & really solid.

BHK has recently closed down but the knives are still available.

Condor Bushlore in wood or Micarta scales. Great knife for the price and excellent for your needs. You'll love it, I know I love mine.

I have the M-5 by Aaron Gray of Grey Wolf Knives that is a 4" scandi grind in 1/8" 1095 with a patina in walnut with a thicker handles with a leather dangler sheath (Woodlore clone)

Superb
I cannot speak more highly of a custom knife at very good prices
A wonderfully balanced knife, which makes it very light in the hand
His zero grinds are perfect
A classic rustic looking knife
(And the wait time is very short)

A larger company will have a better warranty (usually), and you will get more for your money (usually.)

Seriously, just buy a Becker BK17, BK16, or BK2. You'll be hooked.

Helle or karesvando or eka they all do some really nice knives in your price range .

Another production knife option are a plethora of Tops knives in the 4-5 inch range. Many are at $100 or less (sale price, not MSRP) and U.S. made.
