This is an option I am offering on any knife...including the bushcraft....$10.

As you can see from the spine pic...it doesn't not significantly weaken the tip...and there's plenty of spine left. This will help penetration tremendously - which is important as part of the "bushcraft skill set" is game prep. Plus...doesn't hurt that it looks cool. :D

The top can still be left with a burr...good for scraping, etc.

Thanks for looking!

Dan

Thanks for posting the pics! All my questions now answered and I just have to wait for you to finish it :D

Am curious if you can do this to mine already on order... #66. If not, I can live with that, LOL.

...Stop offering COOL options!! LOL :D:D (J/K, don't listen to that! ;))

WA Martin - yes! Got you down for it.

Jaxx - got you covered too. ;)

:D

Very cool Dan. I'd like to see you do some drilling with it though.

Dan,

Nice option. Please add the Striker option to #79.

Thanks!

What strikes me is the attention to details...even the "lightening" holes are contersunk. That tells a lot about the maker, IMHO. Great worksmanship display :thumbup::thumbup:

got you guys updated on the order tracker.

default user - thanks for the kind words! I countersink the drilled holes to avoid stress risers during heat-treat...yes, even in the handle. ;)

The S30V belongs to raindog....:D Yes, it was originally to be mine...but hey...I couldn't pass on raindog's offer. :D

Yeah dude! I got a little worried when I read that. Not that I have anything against S30V (see my recent email to you), but I'm really looking forward to the 3V!

Dang....too many similar forum names....:foot:

Yes...I meant raindrop. :D
