just buy a mora 711 again and compare them. It's not like the mora is expensive.
The mora with the scandi grind will be easier for a beginner to field sharpen. The svord will be a better slicer with its thinner blade, ffg convexed edge.
As for durability, i'm not sure what is inside the handle or what the heat treat is like. I don't know if it is full tang, stick tang or what. I know that I wouldn't want to baton with anything less than a full tang knife. From reviews, the svord is a great outdoors knife, it will last years IF you don't abuse it. Don't pry, use it as a screw driver or baton with it. If you insist on batonning, you might consider starting the cut with the knife, and then finishing with a wedge. This way you won't break your knife. I'd recommend the same practice with a mora as well.
As for baton, fine work and heavy chopping...It is unrealistic to expect a knife to do all three very well. Fine work, you'll want a thinner blade. Batoning, you'll want a beefier knife. Heavy chopping? It depends on what you mean by that. If you want a single knife to do all three you will have to decide what is most important and make a series of compromises.
I always carry a small 3" full tang fixed blade and a hatchet. I strap the hatchet on my backpack, and I don't even know that it is there. This allows me to process 99% of all camping tasks with ease. A small wetterlings or even the inexpensive lightweight fiskars hatchet would be a good bet for you for chopping needs.
