Just got this a last week. Love it. My 1st go with it. Super sharp. Extremely comfy no matter how I hold it. I'm new at this bushcraft stuff. Trying to fill a ball cap for Bushcraft USA. Almost there.

Its amazing how much there is to learn. I feel like an idiot just starting out, I know nothing. Glad I opened my eyes to knives that are useful and well thought out like Koster Bark River, Mcnees, Fletcher etc.
I did my weak hand thumb dirty on the jimping. Peeled the skin back. Learning.

Great pic and write-up!!

Bushcraft is a ton of fun. Really brings out the inner-primitive-man.

The thumbgrooves are left *sharp* on purpose - they will throw a NASTY spark with a firesteel. Even my 12-13y.o. boy scouts can make spark-bursts as big as their hands this way. Works great!

I noticed this. The sparks from my light my Fire with these thumb grooves were impressive. The knive has quickly become one of my faves. A joy to use and look at.
