Bushcrafter vs. Woodsman

Hi all.
i am almost ready to think about getting a new AA Forge knife. i have owned a bushcrafter and perhaps a bushcrafter XL before....i wish i could remember. i do remember that i loved them both.

i originally had a scandi ground bushcrafter and loved it. but then, i thought to myself, "hey. maybe you'll like the standard grind better."

that standard grind was a laser, but i have to say...i may have liked the scandi better. weird.

needless to say, i have neither now. :o and hence...this post.

looking at the current models on Adam's page. i see that the bushcrafter and woodsman are pretty close in specs and looks. can anyone tell me the difference? it looks like perhaps the woodsman is a smaller height blade? true?

any input is welcome. thanks.

Funny you ask...sitting here right now with my first AA Forge that I received today (Woodsman) shaving up a little fatwood for its first test.

Sorry but I'm not much help on your comparison question but I'm wondering the same thing as this will not be my last one!

beautiful. any chance i could get a so-called spine-shot picture...i.e. from directly above? i would love to see the handle contours. are these the "coke bottle" handles like on the bushcrafter? i am convinced the bushcrafters i had (with coke bottle handles) were the most comfortable of any knife i have owned.

thanks and congrats on the new knife. (nice job on the shavings, by the way. cool pic.)

Just saw your question, sorry. It is very comfortable indeed.

These are the only pics I snapped when I got it.
