How much does the swamprat bushcraft knife typically sell for?

(Bottom knife) http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j123/Pizzane/DSC01186.jpg

Also these were made out of D2 correct?

I got to handle one once and it felt great in the hand. Wondering what I'd expect to pay to get one though. I'd like to buy one for a smaller camp / hiking knife and possibly for EDC.

I was thinking "what the heck does he mean, swamp rat bushcrafter???"

The official name for that model is the vexillarius, usually shortened to vex, and it's perhaps the most practical small Busse family knife I've ever held. Have I mentioned I like it a lot?? :D

You should be able to find them more easily on the exchange now that you know the real name, but they sold for around $100 at Blade, depending on handle material. I've seen them selling in the $130-$150 range second hand.

Hahah, thanks for the correction. I thought I heard someone call it the bushcrafter, must of been mistaken.

I've been wanting one for some time also, but I'll have to wait until after the holidays to pick one up. I never got to handle one, but I really think it would fit my hands perfectly. Good luck finding one!

IIRC, they were $130 at the last Ganza. Sigh. Ganza. Remember those?

Oh yeah, I got to go to the Easton Ganza. Nevermind. LOL

$130 at the ganzaa? really? Was that for the G10 models?

I paid $98.95 for the green linen micarta vex at Blade.

These were shots from my sale post of a Vex.
