I prefer leather but I do like kydex for some applications. I recently had two kydex sheaths made for my Bushfinger and Fletcher BOXL. Both sheaths have leather drop loops. They are also compatible with ESEE 5/6 (altoid tin) pouches. I don't have a pouch currently but I have one on order. I can post pics after I get it attached.

Those look great for camping and hiking. Kydex handles the weather and the dirt so well. The drop loops look set up for easy carry. Be sure to post some pics when you get the pouches.

I love leather for all the right reasons, but kydex certainly does have a place of value. I use two kydex sheaths for myself at times. Those look very well done and should serve you well.

Thanks Rick. He does outstanding kydex work. I've used him for multiple sheaths over the years. Unfortunately the wait times become extreme. I ordered these in March. I'm looking forward to putting these to use.
