Bushman Sheath Question

I have a #95BUSK "Bushman" knife. As of yet, I have not used it.
Today, I took it out of the box, to see if the walking/hiking stick I have will fit the handle for use as a spear. (It does.)
When I put the knife back into the sheath, it did not want to clip in, so I pushed a little harder. The clips (?) that hold the knife in the sheath left at that point. They are gone, I spent 30 minutes in vain looking for them.
Is the "Secure - Ex" sheath covered under warranty? Is there an alternative sheath, perhaps of nylon or leather?

The clips snap back in. If u have lost them. U can't buy just the clips. You can buy a sheath but it is more expensive than buying another bushman and sheath together.

The clips may have slid down into the sheath. I'll try to see if a screwdriver can move them back up.
If it costs more to replace a defective (by design?) sheath than it is to buy another Bushman (with the same defective sheath) why should I waste more money on a replacement Bushman or sheath?!?
"screw me once, shame on you; screw me twice, shame on me."

That's a bummer. I assumed the sheath retained the knife just by being molded to fit it. I didn't know there were separate pieces inside. Watching this vid more closely (around 1:15), I can vaguely see something inside the mouth of the sheath, though. What a weird design. :(

Well, it is a miracle. The truck's poltergeist spit up the missing clip! And only 8 feet from where it came off!
She (the poltergeist) put it on the front passenger seat. Under a Truck Paper (r) (TM) that had been there a day or so before the clip flew off!

She must be feeling friendly. She gave back to truck key I issued my last co-driver. He's been in another truck 4 or 5 months now.
