Even sheathed it is barely 10-11 ounces!!!

Words cannot describe the *feel* of this knife.

I thought I might be burned out because of the crazy LONG wait we all had to go through....but these turned out so nice I am already planning the next run..! :D

Let me know what you think!!

Dan

I am sick that I missed the 1st. run
I will definetly be on the Second list ,Looks Freaking Awesome Dan !

Hey Dan -- if we are already on the "Elite" list (looks like you're still waiting for the Elite blades from the CNC guys), can we speak up for the above style sheath now and pre-pay for it so that everything ships at once?

They turned out great Dan! I was part of the prototype passaround and signed up for 2 immediately. When money got tight I took myself off the list, but I kept remembering how well the blades worked, that fantastic feel you talk about, and when money got 'untight' and I was still on the list (thank goodness), I jumped back in. So that crazy long wait worked for me! Can't wait to get these in hand. Great job Dan!

+1 and for the micarta handles also.

Thank you in advance Dan, as usual.

:thumbup:These Look GREAT! I'm SSOOOOO Glad that I jumped on board. Yes, it's been a long wait. (It's not a perfect world)
I want to say Thank you.To you Dan, For "toughing" this out for all of us.
The way I see it. It's been easy for us - Sign up & send $$$ vs. you having to stay on the CNC shop to complete their end of the production process & tracking down the needed supplies, etc. Yes Sir, Dan. THANK YOU!!!!!
The final product speaks volumes of your Mad Skillz.
Enough sucking up... Sign me up on the second run, I'm IN !!!:D:D:D

All I can say is I wish I had gotten in on that bad boy. Congrats to those who will be getting one.

Who made that sheath Dan?

I really like the pouch opening - it adds protection - but the welt stops short - so the knife is easy to draw.

It looks like it is wearing well too.

EDIT:

Never mind - I see it is a JRE - great quality. I have found some Montana Pitch Blend on the sheath makes it look awesome at this point. Like it is an antique but in great shape!
