Howdy Hogs,

After collecting many a swamp rat and scrapyard, as well as a Skeleton Key, I'm finally going to get my hands on a big Busse. I ordered a Bushwacker in Jungle Green w/ the Black G-10 handles.

I tend to like piggyback combos... M9LE with a HCLE, Dogfather with Howling Rat and Camp Tramp w/ Swamp Warden. I'd like to do something similar with the Bushwacker and pair it up with a smaller Busse in the 3 to 4 inch blade range....with the same color combination. Jungle Green and Black G-10..

So far the two that look like they'd fit the bill is a Game Warden or an Active Duty....did they come in that color combo and if so, how rare are they?

Also, any other recommendations for knives that might fit the bill? My knowledge of the entire Busse line is limited.

thanks much-

digs

There are also the various Street variations - meaner streets in particular might fit the bill and they have been showing up at shows recently alongside active duty's.

If you are really set on color matching (like your shoes and your purse :D), you could probably buy a beat-up user and send it in to Garth for new handles and a new coating.

The active duty would be an obvious choice. There are several around with Sage/Black Micarta and Muddy/Tan Micarta from the Miliganzaa.

A Cultellus would be a good small blade. Piggy back one kydex on kydex.

Maybe a skelly warden ? :)

What ever you do , don't get a HACK, & if you happen to find one let me know I will get the atrocious little thing off the market so no one has to be plagued with owning it. :barf: :)

You mean you don't have ALL of them yet? ;)

...after thinking about it for a while I'm looking into getting a Culti to pair with my BWM, both (ultimately) in Satin and Hand Shaped Black Canvas. I think it'll be a great do-everything combo for the outdoors.

I have plans to beat one of the two I ordered for awhile then send it in to get either DC or Urban Shadow Camo.

I'd piggyback another bushwacker. Cross draw style. Lefty and Righty - that's what I'd call em....or maybe Slicy and Dicey. Hmmm, I think I'm on to something.

If they would only make me a bushwacker in bama clay :grumpy:....

I would pair it with one of these :D
