Hey guys,

Just wondering if the Bushwacker handle the same as the fusion handle, with a different pommel? If not, what is the difference?

Thanks

No, they're not the same.

From top: Fusion, BWM, Egro and something you're very familiar with ;)

BWM handle is a bit more like ergo handle that has been straightened.

I guess they have different swells and angles... hard to describe...

Hmm....Mind telling me which one is more comfy to you?

Thanks for the pic too

Well... It'll all depend on what you like and what is most comfortable for your hands...

IMO Ergo Gen 2 handles are a giant improvement over original Ergo handles.
On face value I prefer Bushwhacker handle over Fusion, but I never got to use it as much as I did Fusion.

But comparing them all... you'd need the same blade length, thickness and shape to properly compare them...

I'd say 'Weiler handles (especially the new, more profiled, ones) are most comfy ;)

I really wanted to like the Ratweiler I had, but it just didn't fit me right.

If you were to overlay them, you could see that the handles have a very similar profile. The only real difference is the top back end and ever so slightly more belly on the BWM. The scales are a little rounder on the BWM (compared to older fusion handles), and this may tilt the comfort scale minutely towards the BWM. Overall not really much noticeable difference after a lot of chopping and you can't go wrong with either
