Bushwacker Mistress vs NMFBM

I believe ankerson has...

I will say even though my Bushwacker that I just bought isn't in my hands, the NMFBM will absolutely destroy it in chopping. There should be no comparison at all, the NMFBM is one of Busses premier choppers. I regret selling mine and am going to buy another one.

Has anyone done a performance comparison with these two Busses?

Like 230, said Ankerson...Aka....Porkshankerson has a ton of video's with the weights of each and different chopping comparisons around here between most of the Mistress's. ;)

Like the other said I did the comparisons and they aren't even in the same league. :)

The NMFBM will destroy the BWM chopping.

If you started chopping the same thing with both of them you would have time to kick back and smoke a cig and eat lunch before the BWM got done. ;)

The NMFBM is THE one.

Guys,
Does anyone here mind explaining the difference in performance, and why there is one?
I mean, if you were to put the same edge on both knives, then it can only come down to a couple things, right? Such as:

-blade thickness. Which is thinner? Which is thicker?

-Weight of blade. Which is heavier? Heavier can equal better chopping, BUT of course heavier also = THICKER, which can degrade chopping performance a bit.

Thanks for any insight. I'm no expert, but I know there is only so much that can affect performance...

It's balance, blade thickness, blade width, blade lengh, and primary grind, shape of the blades, balance point and weight.

Its longer and heavier and that makes it a better chopper. Besides a few exceptions this is just the nature of the correlation between size and performance.
