Busse 1911 grips

Guys, try to get Jerry to start making grips for a 1911 out of the same material and in the same style and texture as the grips on the Busse knives. We've got a thread going on over at the Busse Combat forum about this and it's got several people interested. Let's all show our support for the idea and see if we can convince him to make a run of them.
 
Good idea! I'd like to see a run of the newer more
textured ones he's introducing. Only thing is there's
so many grip makers for 1911 style pistols already
there's a lot of comepetition.
 
I saw the thread over on the Busse forum & thought it was a great idea.So much so I asked a few freinds at the Mesa gun show sat. & everyone said that would be a great idea. I for one want at least 2 or 3 pair & I have atleast a dozen freinds would get at least 1 pair ea. how about 40.00 a pair? He could make 100 snake skin & 100 grey green? Man oh man I hope this happens. Oh & the answer to Jerry's question all 1911 grips are the same except for the wide bodies ie. Para-Ordinance, STI & SV but the Kimbers, Colts, & Springfeilds are the same.
 
I would buy a couple of pair, too. One full-size and one compact, anyway. I like the grey-green look of the micarta on the knives and I love the texture. Thin grips of Jerry's micarta would look good on a 1911.

Hmmm...not to get too carried away, but they could use a piece of INFI for reinforcement, if needed...

Nah..just the micarta grips would do.
 
Make sure while he is at that he makes the cut for the ambidextrous safety. Then he has to have to the square bottom option for the Smith & Alexander Mag Well to round out the mix ;)
 
Hi Jerry-

Count me in for two gray pairs for matching SIG-Sauer P229 semi-automatic pistols. That micarta would look SWEET. I wonder what kind of set-up and tooling would need to be done for a project like that? :confused:

Hey to go with the grips I could make a special holster that would hold a 1911 & a Active Duty together kind of a Busse 1911 Kangaroo holster ahhhh the wheels are turning now I just need J.B. to make the grips & I vote for the grips first:D The Folder is just a myth:mad: :barf: :mad:
 
Hey maybe Stinky "The Master of Photoshop" can come up with a picture so Jerry can see how cool these 1911 grips would look, I am surprised he has not made a fake folder pic yet. :rolleyes:
 
I vote "DA Brown Rat" make the grips!!!!! and let
Jerry concentrate on that folder!!!! I don't care

grips on!!;) :D What a carry pair, the BAD and a Lightweight Commander:cool:

Here is what I am going to put my Busse grips on & get rid of the carbon fiber ones I wonder if he can do B&W Nucarta?
 
Jerry are these going to happen by christmas?
