A question on the sheath, what is the pin for? My sheath on number 15 is the exact same and I have no idea what the pin is supposed to be for.

It is called a "Frog" (not sure why), but you slip the sheath between your bult and pants until it catches on the frog. You would have to have a fairly tight belt for it to work well.

You slide the sheath inbetween your pants and belt and the pin rests on the top of your belt to hold it.
