There were 36 Air Rescues made with the black blade & Snakeskin Micarta but there were ONLY 13 Desert Air Rescues made!!! The Desert ARK has a tan blade and what appears to be a tan & black Linen micarta (VERY DIFFERENT from most Busse's). Both very hard to come by in unused MINT CONDITION and both EXTREMELY GORGEOUS!!! One of my all time favorite users. Ron, you might want to also note that the desert is different than the black in that, I am assuming based on my desert ARK, it has a swedge grind on the clip. This would aid in penetration and the like and I bring it up because I think it really sets them off. Like I said I am assuming Jerry did them all like this and if yours is not, I apologize for butting in.
