Busse Combat AK47 w/sheath - This is a user. Dont want to sell it, but continued unemployment requires it. It has reletively minor (but visible) smoothed out coating near the center of the blade, and at the tip. there is a small chip in the coating on the corner of the spine in the middle of hte blade, as well as near the ricasso on the spine. the pommel tip has the coating smoothed to steel at the corners. the tip and pommel smoothing is due to having been thrown at a wooden target :)

That being said, there is no visible edge deformation to speak of, though it is not as sharp as it was when I got it. The sheath is not pretty, but it is fully functional. the tube fasteners are spaced at roughly the correct intervals for a large techlock, but I'm not actually sure if one will fit, or if it would be comfortable to wear in that fashion. It does not come with a belt loop.

Busse Combat Basic 9 w/factory kydex - Basically mint. there is some very slight smoothing along the edges of the spine from the kydex, but otherwise it has never been used for antyhing, and has no visible wear.

Khukuri house Jung Bahadur - This is basically villiger model quality. the sanding job on the surface is very visible, and uneven it its sanding pattern. I removed the paint form the handle because it was latex based and purely decorative. I basically consider this a project show peice, or a rehandle project. I'm pricing at 60 because thats roughly what it cost me to get from khukuri house, and it's no longer in production from them. The handle is pretty much to small to use, though I havent actaully used it yet.

The handle of the jung Bahadur:
5 1/2" of grippable handle length
2 1/2" circumfrance at the index finger
3" circumfrance at center of grip
2" cricumfrance at pinky

This is a picture of the spine of the Bhutan/patang sword next to the spine of the Busse Basic 9

The HI Bhutan sword is a custom order. The blade is 9/16" thick at the ricasso area. much more blade heavy then what you'll find with the standard patangs.

The d-gaurd fighter is technically unused, but I have modified the handle. initially it tapered towards the blade, leaving the pomel area unusably wide. so I sanded that down so it could be gripped, and hammered the exposed tang to tighten the d-gaurd portion wich was wobbling. There are a few marks on the pommell.

specs:
2lb 4.5oz blade only
3lb 4.5oz for the entire rig
18.5" tip to pommel
3/8" thick

The 20" siru is unused and as I recieved it from HI.

some specs on the handle:
4 1/4" circumfrance at index finger
4" circumfrance at center of grip
3 1/2" circumfrance at pinky

The 25" siru is unused and as I recieved it from HI.

specs:
2lb 3oz for blade only
3lb 4.5oz for the entire rig
25" long
3/8" thick

The HI bilton is unused and as I received it from HI

The leatherman juice pro comes with the leatherman brand leather sheath, and was carried in my pocket for about 4 days. It was not used for anything other then that.

The CRKT M1 is slightly used. there is some very slight smoothing of the coating, but there is no visible damage to the edge. It is still sharp, and ready for use. By smoothing I mean it reflects light differently, not that it's worn down to steel. the general geometry of this knife is interesting, its main grinds are hollow, and its cutting edge is a very assymetrical grind (the area where the stone hits when grinding on one side is very large, but very small on the other. almost a chisel grind). one side is actually literally hollow ground, leading into a v ground forward section and tip. When sharpening, apperently crkt was using a very small contact wheel.

I will update the specs on these as soon as I come home tonight from class.

prices reduced, I really need the money from this quickly.... after the monday, I will probably raise the prices back up, as the rent crisis will be temporarily averted.

Could you give me specs on the 60.00$ bahadur?,the one with the all-steel D-guard?Please let me have the first crack at it,thanks.

I wont be at my house until monday, But I will have a full set of specs updated for it. I Know that its 2 lbs 1.6 oz by itself, and 2 lbs 11.8oz with the sheath. The blade is 3/8" thick.

I would put the finish quality a little below the HI villager models, because you can see the pattern from the electric sander/wire wheel. overall it's a nice peice for the price, the handle is just very small.

edit: lol... I think I broke a rib on friday using a pair of pruning sheers, so this money may just end up going to a one time doctors visit...

Seth,
I am interested in the khuhuri house Jung Bahadur.

Is the blade as heavy as the Himalayan knives?

In your opinon is the handle strong enough for heavy use?

Any of the Himalayan knives still available and price please.

I can pay by PayPal if that is okay.

My site name is Sharks_Edge, but I don't visit much so please contact me by email at Potomac40140@yahoo.com.

Thank you,
Karl
