I just toss my ASHLE secured in the mashed cat kydex right into my back pack. I am a simple guy though :)

I usually carry a camelbak trizip with a junglas on the side and a knife on my belt with a minimal kit in the pouch.

for longer trips a good old army ruck, with the junglas moved to it.

I am impressed and disturbed both at the same time!!!!

You ever do a layout of ALL the gear to sort it?

Very nice
I had been looking for a nice pack but cant seem to find one with the options I'd like in a pack :grumpy:

How does everyone like the camelbak backpacks? I have one for cycling, but it only holds 70 ounces and has a few small pouches.

I have been looking for a larger camelbak for an all purpose setup. I found a 200 ounce reservoir also, but couldn't seem to find a pack that came with one.

Any info is appreciated.

Damn, that's a lot of packs

And a nice set up on each

Hey, I got one of those

Not many do for some reason

I have a Tri Zip that I found new at the Indy 1500 for $100 so I jumped on it.

I really like it, the heavier the loads, the more comfortable it gets. I've carried my 1911, 3 extra mags, 7-8 knives, water, and a lot of heavy odds and ends in it, heaviest I got it is about 60 pounds.

Since I've got it, it's been through a lot of Indy 1500s, Blade, and 2 Knob Creeks. The harness system is very comfortable, breathable, and fully adjustable, and designed by Mystery Ranch. It's a little small but easy to stick pouches on. Comes with a bladder and the waiste belt is removable

I like camelbaks alot, they are really well made and very durable. The trizip is my favorite because of the mystery ranch harness system. Most packs are too short for me, the waist belt will hit too high and bother me, or I have to adjust the straps out so long that the buckles are on my collar bones. The trizip harness is adjustable for torso length which makes it much more comfortable to carry heavier loads longer distances. It has plenty of molle straps to add all the pouches you could want or attach knives to.

So if your 6ft or over the trizip or any that come with the mystery ranch harness system is a huge plus.

Thanks guys, thats a lot of help. Especially about the removable waist belt and the six foot and over. Very helpful.

Sounds like a great option. I am going to try to find a place with them to check it out in person.

Each bag has a very cool design to me....I just got the Camelbak and i really like it....The ones i got are priced in a reasonable price range and that means i can afford more Busse knives...lol...:) My mind wonders to much and that's why i have to many ........

This is my first post after reading for years, I'm not big on sharing in this method.
Blade forums is My first forum, and Busse my first subscription...in fact, this my first forum post ever! A virgin at 38, up until now...

This thread put me over the top, I've definitely found like-minded folks (I.e., nut jobs!). I totally need to get my s--t together and have a selection of bobs at hand like this guy. Thanks for the inspiration!
