Busse Anniversary Knife Model?. . . You decide!!!

2007 marks my 25th year as a full-time knifemaker and the 15th year anniversary of Busse Combat. Eventhough I started making custom knives in the late '70s I didn't start counting until I went full-time in 1982.

In 2002, for the 10th and 20th anniversary I did a remake of my Argonne Assault model from the 80's. Now I need to know what I should offer for the 15th and 25th anniversary. This knife will only be offered once and then permanently retired!:eek:

Should I bring back an old classic? Should I design an entirely new model? Should I just drink until I pass out? Hmmmm. . . . I could use a little help here fellas!!!:confused:

I welcome all suggestions!:thumbup:

Although, I'm really jonesing for a SFNO, suggesting that would probably be selfish.

Hmmm. If you redo a classic, my vote is for the Silent Knight! I would love to see a 2007 version of that bad boy. Of course a new desgn would be cool too.

D Guard Fighter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes. And when you wake up, then you can get to work putting out an Anniversary Edition SHSH :thumbup: :D

I also vote for an anniversary edition SHSH (or a SHBM styled like the 1 of 300).

I would LOVE to see a MOJO Variant. Perhaps in a limited run Micarta pattern with serrated uppers swedge and a diff handle design. This is similar to what I was thinking but with some variations. A slightly diff handle and perhaps a deeper belly?

With all the chat here around the Badger... I think I'd like to see someting in the lines of a SHBA 4" blade and then maybe a 5.5" blade.

I know I'm new to Busse & INFI... and just received my first piece today... a beautiful DC/Blk GW... but thats my vote! :cool:

What I'd really like to see is a Flying Tiger, how about bringing some of that?

GEE, I wonder what model I would want............ Here is a idea, since a Birds Beak Steel Heart was never made from INFI, I think it would be so cool to have one of those as one of the Anniversary knives! The smaller grip of the BBSHSH just melts in your hand! Having one made from INFI would bring the old and new together so well! My second choice would be a Special Edition recurve satin finish FOLDER :eek: for the 25th Anniversary, it would bring in the new ERA of Busse Combat with the most BAD ASS folder ever made!
