Here is the second of two Busse Apprentice Hunter blades I have finished. This one has a black linen Micarta handle finished to 220 grit and oiled to darken the handle. "Pins" are 0.210" diameter carbon fiber tubes. The blade is 3/16" thick 5160, I believe. Sheath is Concealex with a multicarry position clip. Enjoy!

Thanks. It has real Stealth potential! ;) The Apprentice blades were a nice find. I was going to keep this one for myself, but I wasn't real motivated to finish it, and I'm getting an original Blackjack Panga as trade, so I think that will be a fun knife to go crazy with. Yippee! :D

That is wicked cool, it really does have a stealth look to it. I really like your choice in materials too. The micarta looks great, is super durable and in the past I have found it gives a great grip under a variety of conditions.

5160 is tough stuff, it makes a great hard use camp knife due to its impact resistance. As well, the full flat grind on the fairly thick stock should make for very tough tool that still cuts pretty well. Again, great choice for military of hard civilian use. I ahve used knives with that profile before and found them to be great for hard use.

I like the sheath too, it looks versatile, comfortable and really matches the character of the knife well.

Another great looking knife, keep up the awesome work Chiro!!

NIce looking, I could definately use something like that for work.

Regards,
Walt
