Been trying to do some research on the Busse AA SRT I picked up a little while ago. My Google-fu is turning up very little info. Anybody know anything about this knife? Curious of when it was made and number made, who it was made for etc.

Appreciate any info.



 
Here's what I know:

1. That's an awesome blade
2. I'm insanely jealous
3. Some real Hogs should be along shortly to give you better information than I have
4. That's a good lookin knife.
 
Great looking blade. Good luck in finding info. I doubt you'll get much info on numbers or who it was made for though.

Very desirable blade though.

I agree with 1-4 and will explain 5, what it was made for. It was made for shedding day light on zombie brains.
 
Very nice. I'd take that any day of the week a d 4 times on Tuesday.

The new version is not an improvement for me. I don't like the milled back edge on the new ones.
 
See 'em come up now and then. Wish I could get one. Kinda unique with the mystique around them....

I figured it was an older model and that it probably pre-dated the AA 2007 Special Edition I have. It certainly is a beautiful knife and it makes you feel pretty badass when you hold it. Though if it came down to me defending myself with it and risking its minty freshness, I'd probably put the knife down and go fisticuffs instead.

If you were holding that beauty, I doubt you would even have to think about defending yourself :eek:;)
