Hi guys
I'm very interested to know what you think about the Ash-1 as a user in .22 or .32, not a collector or safety queen, but as an actual hard use knife?
Now i know the .32 you could drop a bomb on and dust it off and keep on cutting, but as a user which one lends itself to being more "user freindly".
I'd love to hear from you guys that use them and know what you think
Thanks guys

I'd get the Skinny Ash-1 for general purpose use. Get a pry-bar if you want to beat on stuff with a piece of metal. The "Skinny" is incredibly well balanced, wears well on the belt, and has a deeper "bite" when comes to chopping (you'd have to choke back on the handle a little bit) and is a fine cutter with the flat grind... even more so if you put a convex edge on it. What's ironic to me is that the most usable Busses are usually the least "coveted" by the Busse collectors. Well, I guess I just gave myself a hint to understanding the irony - they collect Busses.

You might also want to take a look at the Bushwacker Mistress - the BWM. To me, it's like a long bladed version of the Skinny Ash-1 - in a sorta kinda way.

You might want to post this question on the Busse sub-forum too!
