I am looking for some information on this blade. I know it is a mil-overun and was designed as a fighter. I am considering buying one of these and would like to know a bit more about this awsome peice of INFI. Does anyone know anything about this blade? Thanks

Which size are you interested in? (there are 3 sizes)
Do you want the regular or the Calif. or does it even matter to you?
IF you're looking for people to give you info about performance, You might end up waiting a long time. It's a nice knife, but rare and collectable.
 
Thanks Walking Man, I am talking about the Big California BARF. And yes, any feild tests (hopefully) would be great! :cool: Any info you have would be appreciated.
 
I have one, but it's the regular and it's not for sale.
I can see we have similar tastes in Busse knives.
(BTW, my Terror Monkey BM isn't for sale)

Let's see here:
about 16" oal
9" blade.
1/4" thick
1 3/4" wide at base.
has some serrations.
and very pointy.
and a nice full flat grind.
 
Yes, it appears as if we do have similar tastes in Busse's. Is the BIG BARF the one with the 10 inch blade? How does this knife feel when you pick it up? How is the balence? Have you done any feild tests?

How sharp does yours feel, and how sharp was it when you received it?
 
I've not field tested because I don't own one. I got to handle one at a show though. A big barf Cali. style. Very nice feeling blade. I really like that handle.
 
Thanks for the detail about the handle, it sounds great. I have been told they would be unreal in a knife fight, can anyone comment on this?

You remind me a lot of Chang (MC Chang, now) when he first joined.

Thanks for the complement. One thing: Do you have the Big BARF? If so, do you mean 9 inch blade or or cutting edge (I was told they have a 10 inch blade)? I will take a look at the movie.
 
I'd like to watch the movie but dialup just won't allow it. Not in a reasonable amount of time at least.

Too bad these things aren't real.

I have a Big BARF, Medium BARF and a Big California BARF'n, but I haven't used any of them, thay are in the safe.
