Busse at Knife show?

hello all,

any one know if Busse is going to be at Bill Goodmans gun and knife show at Hara Arena(Dayton, Ohio) on Nov 19-20?

ThatMguy sets up at the proshow in columbus but not here in Dayton. It rolls around every 2 months I believe and the last one was in OCt. That is if he has not moved.

What do you do for the AF?

Hi ohioguy, welcome to the forums! :D

I live over by Randolph AFB, where you at? Might grab a cuppa coffe and talk Busse's sometime, if you want to handle some Busse knives I'd be happy to do a show and tell. ;)

I actually live on base at Brooks on the south side and I think i'll have to take you up on that. Being new to the Busse craze i'd like to see some up close and personal. Do you ever see any Busses' at the gun show at the convention center?

According to their calender they will be there Nov 26 - 27 but I am not sure if mike will be there, he will post a thread here if he will be attending.

I am currently stationed in dayton but I spent 3 years at kelly AFB and 1 year at laughlin AFB.

I own mostly Swamp rat knives (subdivision of busse) but I do own the Busse Fusion steel heart. If you want to get together during your break then you can contact me over at the swamp ( http://www.swampratknifeworks.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi ) via the private message feature. I go by ratdreamer over there. I dont have PM access on this forum.
Good luck getting a Busse and make sure you are a good owner and abuse it. Don't make it spend its life breathing stagnent air in a safe.

If you want to see what they are capable of then do a search for my posts over at the swamp and you will see pics of me beating them through firewood and chopping trees in half.

I will be set up at the PRO show Thanksgiving weekend at the Westland Mall.

I'll post details in the next day or so.

I'll have some stuff for you to check out if you want to make the trek. We're about an hour or so from WPAFB.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Can anyone tell me does Thatmguy work for busse or does he just have a lot of his blades he sells? I think i'm going to have to tell my family i' going away for a couple of hours and go to the knife show! :p

He is an official representative of Busse, so when you max your credit card out it will read busse on your cc statement.
If you are leaving from WPAFB let me know and we can caravan or if my wife and son don't go then we can carpool. Its not that hard to find the show, entry is $7 and women/children get in free.
Good luck and have a safe trip up here to Ohio. They are talking flurries and snow this week.

They never have that much info about it but it is a hundred times better than bill goodman. Its in an old jcpenny store and they usually sell out all there tables. They have everything from evil black rifles to handguns and anything in between.

Ah, Brooks is just up 35 from me a little ways, I live in Live Oak, we could meet at one of the hundreds of Jims around here. ;) They seem very knife friendly and the waitresses are good at keeping the coffee cup full. :D When you get some free time gimme a shout at armoralleather@yahoo.com and we''ll set up a meet n greet.

As far as the gun show on Broadway, I've only seen two Busse's, one was a Basic 3 and the guy was so proud of it:thumbup: The other was a Basic 9. The 9 was brought to me by one of the dealers there for an ID, he was giddy when he found out it was indeed a real Busse. :D:D
 
Man, that MS is looooong gone....

A lot of hogs trampled each other to get it at a show...it was beautiful.....:cool: :thumbup:
