For all of you who didn't go to Knob Creek, you missed the first public preview of the folder. They hadn't decided on handle version yet, but it was....gotcha.... But, they did blow out some blades. A lot of converts from Dave's comments.... That is a good mix, and it was Dave's first shoot. Be great to see them next April.

I just have to say that Dave and Frank RULE

(So does seeing Daves expression when the night shoot started

...BOOOOM)

I wish I'da seen that!! Think they ought to find someone with a better accuracy rate from a chopper.... Dave did seem pretty psyched Saturday when I saw him. It was the right mix. They need to come back next year.

P.S. Did you get the paracord "guard" done on any of your blades?? That looked sharp.

I wish I would've gotten a picture of the paracord gaurds, they were a really cool addition. I did end up picking up my BM and I also purchased a Steel Heart

I also came real close to getting one of the Mean Streets with the new finish. (did you notice that the MS's were of the thinner stock like the Desert Warfare MS?

Of recent, some .23 stock has found its way into the standard Mean Street offering of black micarta, hence, the reason you saw a few in black.

There were absolutely NO Lean Mean Streets at the show, as Jerry confirmed they were not ready prior to show.

The visual difference between the .1875 and the .23 is quite noticable.

Thought it did, but it matched up to very close to the SH-E and BM-E on the table too. I almost picked that one up. I like the finish. I think they need to sell some apparel next time so we can show our colours....

Thought I would drop a short note of thanks to all of you who were able to attend Knob Creek. As you can read by those who have already posted, it was an exceptional show and Frank and I had a GREAT TIME with all of you!!!

Good putting faces with names!

Met Dave and Frank at the shoot. These are two GREAT guys!!! Didn't get to see Dave's face when the night shoot started...was too busy watching the guy in the helicopter miss the charge on the hill. (but when someone finally did hit it...WOW). Picked up a SH last minute at the show

. I want to put it to use, but I think the hotel staff here would frown on me chopping stuff up in my room! I'll have to wait a few weeks until I get home to really use it
