Is the busse axe hammer tribute knife similar to the satin jack? Was looking to get a satin jack but might settle for a axe hammer tribute knife. Second question, are satin jack tac hard knives to find? I started a WTB. I have turned into one of those guys that taps the refresh button every 20 minutes. Thanks for the help

The satin jack tac is closer in spec to the axe hammer than the satin jack. Both are great all arounders, the SJTAC's don't pop up that often and unless you find one really well used they will cost nearly as much as a new axe hammer. So, IMO, if you like the specs of the axe hammer you might pull the trigger on one while they are still available.

I love my axe hammer le! I've owned both the sjtac and axe hammer and can say I really liked both but I still have the axe hammer. Pull the trigger...you won't be disappointed.

If you think you want a sjtac get the hammer they are still available and reasonable . My sjtac is nice and thin and should be more popular.

Satin jack is 6" blade and axe hammer is 6.5"
Also the axe hammer is 0.17 thinner and available where as satin jack is pretty hard to come by in my experience

Other than the clip-point, how does it compare to the Tank Buster?

Totally different animals. The axe hammer and SJTAC are thinner, lighter and have less blade width. This makes them more nimble, faster and IMO a better all grounder / bushcrafter. The Tank Buster is a beast of a knife, .22-.26 inches thicker, wider blade....it's a tank. All three are awesome knifes, just depends on what you are looking for.
