I have two Badger Attack E's ,one has the polished spine and one doesn't. Which one is more rare? Or were they both produced in the same numbers? I am going to sell one to help fund a trip to Montana so I was wondering which one to keep.

good, they deserve that treatment, and the paint won't chip and wear off the spine when you hammer it through a limb with a short peice of log. :)

on second thought.....

keep the coated one and send the one with the flawed spine to me

Keep the one that feels best in your hand.

Then send the other to the "Hamguy's Home for Wayward INFI-Hog Lovin Wimminz" fund.

PM me for the addy....LOL

Hey Neibor! :D I have both types and I think the polished spine version feels better in hand. One of my my BAe is an older one with the raised spine so it feels a little awkward. Also the scales have a lot to do with comfort as well, Jerry started to radius the scales smooth top and bottom and that improved the feel 100%. THe older scales tended to have sharp spots, especially the quilted types. Lets meet up at the Jims and have a bull shooter, and compare notes.

Hey Leatherman, I'll be in your area this weekend for the Saxet show on Broadway. Let,s met up, at the show or at Jim's on Saturday. Just shot you an email a few minutes ago.

Ghostwolf-
I would be interested in buying the BA-E without the polished spine if you decide to sell it. I might have something to trade if that would interest you too.

You can email me at ktaylorm3@msn.com

thanks,
silas

Keep the one that feels better. You're going to use it, so collectability doesn't really matter. If you decide to sell the *rarer* one, that's just more trip $. Not a bad problem to have.

Ghostwolf,

There is something to be said for keeping the fully coated one as a user.

Full coating gives you less exposed to corrode.

If it feels good to your hand, I would keep the fully coated one.

Tha Badger E gives the most control of the blade of any knife that blade size I have ever seen, the comparitive size of handle to blade makes this
an easy knife to work with.
