Anybody have any experience with this blade? Would love to hear your feedback! Pictures would be great too.

Not really a review, but there's some pix in these 2 threads I posted last year...

They are not available for order...but you might see one or a few at shows. Not sure for how much longer however, based on the availability of the original Basic series handles that were found in storage at the Shop and used for these B11's. Sometime in the near future, we should be seeing a Basic 10 (as well as a B8, B6, and a B4) with newer style handles though.

Team Gemini mini review with B11 content also...

At our last NE Ohio Chop-In, I used a Koster Survivor, Test Team KZ with the edge reworked by Garth, and the Asymmetric B11. The B11 certainly held it's own. Not quite as deep a bite, but the trade off of the lighter, easier to wield (and control) blade makes up for it.

Ah... Thanks to all. Is there any big choppers that are available through busse custom that I could call and order... or do I just have to get lucky on the forum?

Some have shown up at the last two knob creeks, or you can watch the exchange, make sure you research and see what they go for , or just sit tight and wait for the basic 10

It never hurts to inquire at the shop, don't know if that works or not, but it couldn't hurt to try

Basic 11s are hard to come by, I would have to agree and say to wait for the Basic 10. I'm sure it will be a great value and will not disappoint! I saw it at Blade 2011 and it's a sure winner!

The B11 is quite incredible. It has a permanent place on my backpack. The combination of the lighter weight ThINFI, a longer length, comfortable Res-C handle is hard to beat. It is a real world working chopper. Not a glamour queen, but something that will do the job very well. The reduced weight and shock absorbing Res-C help reduce fatigue. The blade profile and length add to make it a chopping machine. I really wish the Bussekins would come out more thin long blades. The extra length does make a huge difference. The new Basic and 11 series is going to be fantastic, but I think they are stopping short. I would really love to see a 14 inch ThINFI or Thin77 with the Scrapyard style Res-C grip.

greatest knife for its weight! always comes with me and can handle anything...top notch!

I wake up each morning thinking of a new B11 victim around my property. The Asymmetric isn't as sharp as I had expected, but it's holding edge well. It cuts and chops begs for more.

I way "over paid" for one from a dealer here on the forums, but this one is a keeper.
