Hi yall, what would be able to take more weight without breaking??? Not whats more flexible but what can hold more weight without breaking??? The mission Ti or busse.

You are comparing Apples to oranges. Do you know someone with a Basic 7? Because you are not likely to find one easily. The basic 7 is a sub $200 dollar knife when new the Ti-MPK near $400. The Basic 7 continues to increase in value. Prying strength would be close. Beta Ti is very tough, but steel still edges it out in UTS. As for general chopping the MPK-Ti I had did not have enough mass behind it to chop well for my needs. I would pick the Basic7.

Sounds to me like you are looking for the Timberline Specwar. The ones I have, have been abused far more than any other knife I own and it just kept on going. I used it to chop, throwing knife, digging, punturing cars in junkyards, etc. It took it all and never even looked like it would consider failing. It is the true sharpened prybar.

The old Buck Intrepid was similar but the steel was not as good at edge holding.

What exactly is your price range, because so far, I see anywhere from $100 to over $400. The knives in this range will differ greatly

-Answer the following in priority order:
-Value ($ ?)
-Prying Strength (What are you planning to use it for)
-Toughness (Edge chipping cracking on impacts)
-Edge holding
-Corrosion resistance (do you require a lot of corrosion resistance, what will you be doing with it)

The Becker CU7 and Combat Bowie are solid cutting tools, but as for prying and other heavy work, not in the same class as the above other two knives.

Becker CU9 is near 1/4" thick. I wouldn't be afraid to pry with it.
